Uber Terms Of Agreement

Uber Terms Of Agreement

12,501 Uber drivers took the floor and filed corrections in California. Under the terms of the contract uber has put in the throat of these drivers, it must now pay US$1500 per driver to JAMS, the arbitration service it uses for a total of US$18.7 million $US. But so far, Uber has only paid the registration fee for 296 of these driver cases, and of these only 47 have appointed arbitrators, and Uber has only paid the re-enters for only six of those arbitrators. As you can see, these arbitration procedures are used by many companies in the gig economy. As a driver on the Lyft Platform, you acknowledge and agree that you and Lyft are in a direct business relationship and that the relationship between the parties under this Agreement is exclusively the independent parties. You and Lyft fully agree that this is not an employment contract and that there is no employment relationship between you and Lyft; and (2) no joint venture, franchised franchisee, partnership or agency relationship is contemplated or created by this Agreement. You do not have the authority to retain Lyft and you agree not to assert yourself as an employee, representative or authorized representative of Lyft. As a driver, you understand that the requirement or use of ride-sharing services may result in a charge to you („Fees“). The costs related to bicycles and scooters are set out in the supplementary agreement in force.

Rates for ride-sharing services include applicable rates and other fees, tolls, surcharges, and taxes, as shown on your market`s Lyft Cities page (, as well as any tips to the driver you wish to pay. Lyft has the power and reserves the right to determine and change prices by posting the current pricing conditions on the Lyft Cities page of your marketplace or by displaying a price for a particular ride to you at the time of request. Prices may vary depending on the type of service you have requested (e.g.B. shared economy, extra seating, luxury), as described on the Lyft Cities page of your market. You are responsible for verifying the corresponding Lyft Cities page or pricing offer in the Lyft app and are responsible for all charges incurred under your account, whether you are aware of such fees or their amounts. . . .
